What We Believe

What We Believe

Vision

Our vision defines where we are going and the overall focus of our ministry both now and for the future. Our vision is:

To meet all people where they are in life and lead them where God wants them to be.

We seek to become a church that reaches people of all ages, races, ethnicities, cultures and social backgrounds. We aim to break down the barriers that divide us and work together in reaching the world for Christ.

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (Proverbs 29:18 KJV)

Mission

Our mission defines the way we accomplish our vision. Our mission is:

To compassionately engage the community and beyond with the hope, help and healing found in the grace of Christ Jesus. Then to equip and duplicate disciples to live transformed lives in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Vision and Mission work together to help maintain focus and direction for present and future leadership.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV)

Goal

Our overall goal helps us understand what we strive for on a daily basis.

Our goal is to strive for excellence in worship, missions and ministry so that the body of Christ can grow in number and maturity.

Strategy

Our process of discipleship defines the methods we use to accomplish our mission and fulfill our vision.

To connect people to God’s love, Other People and Divine Service through passionate preaching, Biblical teaching, spiritual / emotional healing, personal connection and kingdom service.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Our strategy defines the systems in place to assist non-believers in becoming believers and believers in becoming disciples.
